A Space for Mama Birth Comb

This Birth Comb is another must have in your labour & birth experience. 

This works so so well in conjunction with your TENS Machine as natural & drug free pain relief. 
This comb works as a distraction throughout your contractions- something for you to 'do' as well as working on some acupressure points in the palm of the hand.

As you feel a contraction coming on, you can begin to apply pressure on the comb and can increase the pressure as the contraction builds and then slowly release the hand as the contraction begins to calm down, this is a great way to also help focus your breathing throughout the contraction. 

Working in a somewhat similar way to that of the TENS Machine, the palm of the hand can be quite sensitive so by using the comb and applying pressure through the hand, it can work on the pain pathways in the body and can help make the contractions feel more manageable. 

This can be used in conjunction with any form of pain relief that you may use in labour and is great as it can be used in water or any other birthing position you choose!
